• It’s Electrical Safety Month! NFPA has excellent advice and tip sheets to help you make sure your house is free of electrical hazards.

• Interesting new research on forest thinning that is a little dense, but has some interesting analysis on the efficacy of thinning and prescribed burns, and suggestions on how to reduce negative effects like the growth of invasive species.
• Free pine seedlings still available from Bass Lake Ranger District.
