The Sierra News Online story is based on a misleading press release from partisan assemblyman Jim Patterson.
Nobody thinks slashing firefighting resources is a good idea (unless they’re idiots), but please get your facts straight before linking to a bogus article sourced from a misleading alarmist with an axe to grind. (No pun intended).
Separately, keep up the great work you guys! We love our firefighters up here!
